Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. On stipulated day 15 May 2009 at Fire Service Station in Allahabad; scorching sunshine with simmering wind drained the strength of many who were in the long queue waiting in front of the gate to be opened for the interview from 8:00am until 12:30pm. Gradually, the instigation of discouragement, legs pain, frustration and drenched perspiration made candidates begun to disperse find shadow under trees nearby; nevertheless, ten people were standing in front of the gate enduring the heat of the day; the gate watchman received a telephone order to execute something abruptly. The gate was opened instantaneously, ten people were yank inside astoundingly and the gate was locked behind them, rest of all who were dispersed to shadows in bewilderment rushed bellowing at watchman. The voice from the loudhailer stopped them “’the interview is done’ all of you can go home, if you cannot tolerate the sunshine of the day; sure you cannot be a fire fighter”. Life’s real failure is when you do not realize how-close you were to success when you gave up. You can success if you can persist! Believe it.
Pedagogically, ‘SUCCESS’ is everyone’s exclamation subsequent to finale of the hardship of repeated failures, educations, interviews, missions, projects, problems in business, family, marriage and etc… I suppose, you are too waiting for success? Yet, it’s not arrives to everyone because success is not reliant on your ability or eligibility, talents or tactics; it is up to Him who grants it to whom He favours. Are you in hopeless end? There is an endless hope for you! You can count only seeds in an apple but there is someone who counts apples in a seed. Unconcerned of people’s knowledge about you, It’s Jesus who knows who you are and what is in you; who you can be and what you can do in the days to come. Solitary, God and His people with His spirit can help you and draw out the inherent potentiality from you. Act toward success, keep moving forward irrespective of anti-circumstance, even if you happen to make mistakes, never quit. Stop, negative self-introspection, reminisce the success of the past, even though it was tiny. “For not from the east or from the west and not from the recommendation comes success; but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another” (Psalm 75:6-7). Success is the gift of God to you, when you deserve! Believe it.
Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success, if only you can humble before God to accommodate Him in your life. Jesus can change your failures into success, He can turn your signature into an autograph; you hope that your failure is only temporary; unequivocally, if you can invite Jesus into your heart and love Him with all your heart and others as yourself. “Friend, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Jesus is your enormous strength in you. No one likes hard and rough times with tears and pain in life yet it’s no matter who you look like outside but it matters what is inside of you. World looks at outward appearance but God looks at inward appearance. “God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong” (1 Corinthians 1:27). You can success if Jesus Christ in you! Believe it.
What is the value of 0,00,00,00,001? It’s merely value 1 but what about 1,00,00,00,000? 1 after 9 zeros is worth nothing but 1 but 1 before 9 zeros makes a billion; if so what about 600 zeros? lot difference into a centillion. Your worth is not in your education, wealth, beauty, talents, what you accumulated or what you possess but your worth is in Jesus Christ. With Jesus Christ you are a hero, without Him you are a zero, because He loves you and died for you, He wish you to be successful in everything in the world and in your world; He confers you salvation free of your efforts, in reservation to Heaven to be with Him throughout eternity. Will you find your life’s worth of success in Him? Life is worth more than all that you value success. Jesus said: “If you gain the whole world but if you lose your own soul what will it profit after your death?” Success is something you cannot get it from - the world - neither cannot give you, nor, teach you, nor, show you but Jesus alone can give also you can get from Him; the truth, the way, the life, the peace, the love and the eternity. Success is your worth in Jesus Christ and His worth in you! Believe it.
Why merely attempt success, when you can do the impossible with Jesus Christ? Long centuries ago, Jehoshaphat was a king of a Nation; his nation was invaded by three nations. “He was afraid; he set himself to pray to Jesus Christ and proclaimed a fast throughout his nation. He prayed: “Oh, God, in Your hand are power and might, so that no one is able to withstand you; we cry to you in our distress and you will hear and save us. For we are powerless against these great nations that are coming against us, we do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” When Jehoshaphat thank and praise God for his awful situation along with his nation, God routed opponent nations with confusion they all butchered one another until all annihilated. King Jehoshaphat and his nation spent three days in collection of booty because of its abundance” (2 Chronicles 20:3, 6c, 9d, 12b, 25d). He received success and wealth for seeking help from God, all he did was nothing but fell into the hand of God with humility laying aside his fame, honour and popularity. Jesus said, “Ask, it will be given you; search, you will find; knock, the door will be open for you. For everyone who asks receives, everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door opened” (Luke 11:9-10). God remains silent when you speak and act; when you remain silent asking His help He does everything for you while you sit in silence to see the victory on your behalf. Success is yours if you humble before God and ask His help! Believe it.
Success is all about overcoming hardships. It’s not necessarily our failures are lessons to learn; you learn lessons from others failures to avoid making mistakes. Apostle Paul said, “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me” (Phili4:13). Any successful person on this earth ought emphatically to have these qualities. Success is ambiguity: Be ambitious; have ability to accept a risk; have a high self-esteem about yourself without behavior of boastful or egotistical; be persistence patiently; be nice to work with and be with; be teachable; master your craft; explore life - outwardly and spiritually inwardly; maintain happy and loving family; desire to be luxurious but don’t be after it; meditate the Bible because it is the word of God himself; strengthening relationship, connect with people by making friends; boost your motivation; resist temptation; try to solve your problems on your own or take help from expert; foster optimism; practice gratitude; avoid negative thinking; get physically active; stay strong when your resolve sags; help others; smile at other; get enough sleep, create joy and satisfaction; never expect people to be right, perfect but initiate those yourself; enjoy everyday’s life; eat well; take care of your health and spirit; deal better with hard times; write your problems and solutions, tackle them; shift your thinking; Be as specific as possible; Stick to the facts; Don’t be too narrow; be humble; respect others; don’t think highly of yourself; value others commitment; have integrity; be loyal; be faithful; be trustworthy; be innocent like dove, shrewd like serpent; study meaningfully; do hard work; press on toward perfection; forgive others, forgive yourself; and etc… As Jesus said, “In everything do to others as you would have them do to you” (Matthew 7:12). “Strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33). Success is yours too, if you follow in His footprints carrying your cross daily after Him. Believe it.
